In my search of the best cellulite treatment, I’ve come across various cellulite lotions and creams, but the product that really got my attention are the essential oils.
When massaged into your skin, these essential oils will penetrate deep within your skin layers and treat all sorts of skin problems, including cellulite.
There are different kinds of essential oils that are capable of treating your cellulite, but I have discovered the best essential oil for cellulite after using it myself. So here’s what I found out.
Why Choose Oils In Treating your Cellulite
As mentioned, the essential oils are capable of penetrating deep within your skin layers to treat your skin problems. The process of using oils for treatment is known as aromatherapy and this comes with so many healing properties. In fact, aromatherapy is also used in treating headaches, stress, irregular period, sleeping disorders and acne.
Most essential oils have restorative abilities that could FIX YOUR HORMONAL IMBALANCE – something that also contributes to the development of your cellulite. Moreover, some hormones have diuretic characteristics that can help to beat water retention, which is the main reason behind your dimpled skin.
The best essential oils for cellulite can address the root cause of your cellulite by helping your body to get rid of the toxins that have accumulated in your fat cells. Moreover, they help to ENHANCE the blood circulation in your body and provide oxygen into the cells, helping your body to get rid of the cellulite by itself.
Whether you are happy getting your body massaged by an aromatherapy professional’s hands, or if you are like me, who prefers a do it yourself remedy, then using the best anti cellulite oil in treating your cellulite is definitely a good idea.
What Are The Best Essential Oils For Cellulite
There are several different kinds of essential oils that you can find. But here are some of the best essential oils for cellulite on the market.
- Grapefruit Essential Oil – grapefruit is known for its various health benefits. It is capable of removing toxins out of your body and can be beneficial in effectively minimizing your cellulite and preventing further growth. My Anti Cellulite Oil Recipe
Aside from the three essential oils mentioned above, there are several other oils that are ideal for cellulite treatment. However, I found these three oils to be really effective, especially if you combine all three and create your own essential oil recipe. That is exactly what I did and here’s my essential oil recipe.
- 10 drops of Grapefruit Essential Oil
- 10 drops of Lemongrass Essential Oil
- 10 drops of Rosemary Essential Oil
- 1/4 cup Jojoba Oil (Carrier Oil)
- Simply combine all the above ingredients and place in a glass bottle with cap.
- Shake well and store in a cool and dark location.
- Massage the oil to the dimpled areas of your skin twice a day and every night before going to bed and every morning after you shower.
The Jojoba oil in this recipe is the carrier oil. The carrier oil, also known as the base oil, is actually responsible for diluting the essential oils before they can be massaged into your skin.
Aside from the Jojoba oil, you can also use other carrier oils, such as the apricot kernel, sweet almond and avocado.
My Experience In Using the Anti Cellulite Oil Recipe
Before I came up with this recipe, I have been religiously massaging the grapefruit essential oil to my cellulite, because I believe that the grapefruit oil is one of the BEST ESSENTIAL OILS FOR CELLULITE of all. Yet, as I go on with my research, I found out that you could actually come up with a combination of the essential oils to achieve even better results.
Thus, I have decided to come up with my own recipe, by combining all three essential oils, along with the carrier oil….and here’s my experience.
First of all, I love the smell of all three oils – the citrus smell of grapefruit combined with the soothing smell of rosemary and lemongrass. This alone makes massaging the oil a more pleasant experience.
In fact, I look forward to applying it before bedtime because the soothing smell somehow helps to make me sleep easily. I also love the warm and tingly sensation it gives on my skin.
After about a week of massaging my skin with the oil, I can feel that the texture of my skin is slowly improving, though my cellulite is still there. So I continued with the application and it is only after about 15 DAYS of massaging the essential oils that I begin to notice that my ugly cellulite is starting to disappear.
I am now on my fourth week of using the anti cellulite oil recipe and I am happy with the results. I might try to experiment with other essential oils, but for now, I am satisfied with the results that I’m getting from these three oils.
Using essential oils in treating your dimpled skin is truly effective, as I experienced it myself. However, you must be consistent with the application and if you are going to prepare your own recipe, choose essential oils that have the best quality and are known to be the best anti cellulite oil. You may need to consult with a qualified aromatherapy practitioner if you are experiencing some side effects, such as skin irritation, after applying any of the essential oil.
All in all give some of these essential oils a go and see if they help you in fixing your cellulite. And feel free to share which of the oils worked for you in the comments below and how much of your cellulite was reduced.
