Squats is one of the best cellulite exercises to perform as it is excellent for STRENGTHENING and TONING your legs as well as your hips. If you can do squats on a regular basis you will notice how much difference it will make for your legs.
Place a chair behind you and stand with your legs shoulder-width apart. Now just bend your knees and pretend to sit on the chair without actually touching it, ensuring that your buttocks are clenched and your thighs are parallel to the floor. Keep this position for a few seconds and return to starting stance.
Do the squats for 20 reps.
Good for cellulite around buttocks and stomach.
Use a mat and take up the position with your elbows and knees bent on all fours. Now just extend one leg outwards where your toe is fully extended and touching the floor. Slowly lift the leg up and down for 10 reps.
What’s really gonna work your cellulite is getting in the habit to contract your abdominal and buttock muscles for every time you raise a leg. Work the cellulite away by contracting, and you will feel the burning sensations there after a good set.
Do 3 sets of 10 reps for each leg.
Side Leg Lifts
Side leg lifts are great for getting rid of outer thigh cellulite and bum cellulite.
Simple exercise where you just lay on your side with your legs extended. Now with the top leg just lift it up in the air and bring it back down again until it touches the other leg in a nice smooth motion.
Do this for 15 reps and repeat on the other leg.
A fantastic cellulite busting exercise due to the way it works your hips and legs.
Your cellulite deposits will wilt away if you do it daily. Have a stance with your legs about shoulder width apart, and then bring your right leg forward a couple of feet making sure it is line with your hip. You will then lower your left foot until the knee is bent and is almost touching the floor. Hold this position for a few seconds and then repeat with the other leg.
Do 15 reps for each leg.
A great exercise that obviously targets the bum cellulite, however its also great for thigh cellulite and ab muscles.
Just lay on your back and have your legs bend at the knees making sure your legs are only a few inches apart. Leave your arms by your side, extended and with palms facing floor. Now just clench the muscles in your buttocks and abs and lift your buttocks about 5 inches off the floor, holding it there for 5 seconds, and then returning to the starting position.

To supplement a strength workout program you really need to add some good cardio which will burn that cellulite off that much quicker. It will become a real effective combo with the weight training. The cardio workouts will put MORE TENSION on the muscles, increasing their STRENGTH and making it FAT FREE. Great for toning the shoulders and the arms, swimming in different strokes will ensure that blood circulation is optimized and keeping your cellulite at bay….as nothing gets rid of cellulite faster than an EFFICIENT and OPTIMAL blood circulation.
If you can, do at least an hour a day focusing half the time on freestyle and the other half breaststroke and backstroke.
The best cardio exercise to burn cellulite from the legs period.
I would prefer it over running because you are able to control your own pace and speed. From your calves up to your thighs, nothing is left untouched from jogging. Not only are you fighting your cellulite but you are also keeping fit at the same time.
You want to find a pace that is right for you and keep at it...you don’t want to exert yourself too much when first starting out. If you mix it up with walking as well in the early weeks this will help you establish a good rhythm.
Try to jog for at least 30 mins a day for the first couple of weeks, increasing up to 45 minutes as you become more established.
If jogging is too much for you at this stage, then consider brisk walking which I cover next.
Another cardio exercise that will boost blood circulation is brisk walking.
Once you get the balance right in terms of speed and keeping up the same pace without getting fatigued, then you will get the benefits in reducing your cellulite. Try and get into a daily routine and start off slow with your steps for 10 minutes and thus gradually increase the tempo of your speed.
You want to gradually get up to walking for at least 45 min, but you can start off walking only 15 mins and start walking longer as your legs become familiarized to the movements.
